  1. I especially like the following section from 32:37. Transcribed for your enjoyment:

    The most important part of the SQLite is the 60% of the regression test cases that verify that it's working correctly.

    We can completely strip out an entire system, replace it with totally new code and as long as it passes the regression test suite, we have a high confidence that it's not going to cause any serious problems… It's a lot more work in the beginning but it will save you a lot of work in the end.
