  1. Spring Boot hardly qualifies for microservices. Bring something slightly lighter and it will blow out NodeJS. And as the last thing, this is all nice, but in like 99.99% you will not need microservices architecture and most importantly – you don’t want it.

  2. I think the only problem with these generator is that it doesn't help you at all.. Why? If you don't know what you are doing this will generate a bunch of over configurated files which you have no idea what it's doing… If you still insist and go live with it without knowing a thing about the tool itself you will have no idea how to fix if something bad happens.. In the end is much faster to start from 0, built up the config step by step, read the documentations, experiment with try and error. And once you know how to configure these tools you won't need any generator at all…

    So my recommendation for this talk is… Pick up these names, docker, k8s, prometheus, helm charts and zipkin go on learn each of these individually…
